Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone season 4 launched with two new weapons: a light machine gun called the MG 82 and the C58 assault rifle. These two weapons were free rewards in the Season 4 Battle Pass, but they weren't like that once Season 5 started. Currently, you can unlock the MG 82 or C58 by purchasing a Blueprint version in a Store Pack, or you can earn them by completing new challenges. How to unlock MG 82 light machine gun
Combine some power with the MG 82, which boasts the highest rate of fire in the LMG weapon class. With 100 rounds per magazine by default, it will hopefully take out a number of enemies before even reloading. While its damage isn't as high as other LMGs, it's still an intimidating weapon to contend with.
- Multiplayer and Warzone: Using LMGs, kill 3 or more enemies without reloading in 15 different completed matches
- Zombies: Using light machine guns, kill 250 enemies stunned by your Tesla Storm.
How to unlock the C58 assault rifle
Fans who watched the initial Season 4 trailer have mistaken the C58 as either the FAL or the G3, and while there are some design and functionality overlaps between these weapons, the C58 is a different beast in Cold War and Warzone. While the C58 has a slower rate of fire and a low ammo capacity, it is quite deadly at close range.
- Multiplayer and Warzone: Using Assault Rifles, get a Long Shot kill in 15 different completed matches.
- Zombies: Using Assault Rifles, kill 50 special slowed enemies from your Kazimir LT53 portal.
