How to unlock the real ending

To access the complete ending, you need to recover the Chaos Emeralds in the special stages, to access them you need to enter the large rings that you find scattered throughout the levels, after which capture the UFO to collect the emerald. There are 7 Chaos Emeralds to collect, after doing this you can see the real ending.

How to unlock Sonic 3 and CD skills

If you want to unlock the skills present in the aforementioned games, that is a shield that allows you to avoid damage for a second and the alternative to the spin dash, you will have to play the Blue Spheres mini-game and get gold or silver medals. The silver medals are obtained by collecting all the blue orbs and completing the stage while the gold ones by obtaining the Perfect rank and therefore also collecting all the rings. 

Once this is done, go to No Save via the main menu, you will notice a button that allows you to access the secrets or the Extras, from here you can select the new skills, however you can only use them in a new game.

Getting and using Debug Mode and "& Knucles" Mode

Through the Extras screen it is possible to access two further secrets, the Debug Mode and the Knucles mode. The Debu Bug allows you to enter a mode where you can freely place objects in the scenario including rings, enemies, checkpoints and special rings, while Knucles adds a second of the latter to the stage. To unlock them you will have to play the Blue Spheres stages and get the silver or gold medals. 

How to unlock the Mean Bean multiplayer mini game and Blue Spheres extra stages

This is again an extra, unlockable as always with medals. The first mode is a sort of Sonic-themed Puyo Pop, while the second adds the ability to play Blue Spheres stages outside of the main game.  

How to enter the Sound Test mode 

If you want to listen to the Sonic soundtrack, you will have to unlock the Sound Test, to do this there are several ways:

• Unlock DA Garden mode via in-game Extras (do medals tell you anything?)
• By selecting levels

How to access any zone 

There are two ways to select a stage:

• Through the progression of the same, then carrying them out
• Taking advantage of a trick already present from the Mega Drive 

In the first case just complete the levels and then go to the selection and decide which ones to face again, in the second case instead proceed as follows:

1. Activate Debug mode 
2. Hold square or x on the Xbox while entering No Save mode

Now you can select the level you want to tackle.
