Strange events are taking place these days on the Playstation Network, which have led to various games being locked with a padlock or disappearing from the library, despite being purchased regularly.
It goes without saying that this has sparked panic among the players, however there is a solution to fix the problem. The most common errors encountered are CE-72738-4 and CE-42739-5, relating to licenses.
In other words due to a Bug the Playstation Network believes that a game installed on the console has not been regularly purchased, and is therefore blocked.
How to restore game licenses on PS4
Restoring the licenses of the Games you should fix it, pending that Sony find out what has happened in these days and make changes via the server or fixes with a software update.
To restore the licenses on PS4 you have to proceed as follows:
- Get in the Settings
- Press X up Account Management
- Press X up Restore licenses
Depending on the number of contents to be restored, the procedure may take a certain period of time, from a few minutes to hours. Needless to tell you not to turn off the console or disconnect any hard disks during the process.
When finished, you should be able to play previously purchased titles again.
