How to learn to read in Kingdom Come Derliverance

First of all you have to advance with the story, until you unlock the specific mission called "The Pen and the Sword", you can get it by talking to the Bailiff in the city of Rattay, it is located on the upper floor next to the Armorer building, in the main square.

Once you have obtained the mission, proceed as follows:

1. Go to the city of UZHITZ (If you have not yet unlocked it on the map, continue with the story)
2. Talk to the Writer, asking him if you want to learn to read
3. Make sure you have 50 coins and accept the requested payment (If you don't have any coins, please see our article Kingdom Come: Deliverance Guide: How to get coins quickly
4. Read the first book when requested by the Writer, you will find it on the desk
5. Talk to the Writer and to his question select the third answer
6. The Writer will ask you to read a book in Latin, you will find it next to the previous one, to interact with it we advise you to jump on the bench 
7. Go back to speaking to the Writer and select the central answer to his question

Congratulations, you have learned to read! Now you just have to read everything you come across to get new skills!
