FIFA 22: How to change the name of the VOLTA avatar

FIFA is back for another year, as FIFA 22 is officially available for users starting October 1st. VOLTA, EA Sports FIFA's street football game mode, is also back for more years, as users can create their own squad and play in either online or offline matches in scenic locations such as New York, Paris or Milan. In VOLTA, FIFA players will have control of their own custom avatar and this avatar can be customized from head to toe. Additionally, users can also edit biographical information, including your name.

If you're looking to change the name of your VOLTA avatar in FIFA 22, but can't find the option to do so, we can help. Let's look at what you need to do to change your avatar's name.

To change the name of your VOLTA player, you will need to enter the VOLTA game mode. Go to the hub and select Customize. Then, select the Edit Reader tab.

Once this is done, you will be able to edit the bio information for your avatar via the Info menu. To change the name, select the “Name” bar with A (for Xbox) or X (for PlayStation). Change the avatar name using the keyboard.
